The New Spa Opens!

Officially opened in May, the new Landmark Spa and Health Club can be seen at it's new website http://www.landmarkspa.com/ . The Spa utilises the space much more efficiently than before, and is home to a host of stunning features, read more about it in our press release here.

Spa Whirlpool

Our famous spa whirlpool is still a work in progress but it has reached an exciting stage. The feature wall above the whirlpool has been completed, the plumbing and plant work is now in place and the tiling of the spa bath itself will begin very shortly, once again using the italian mosaic tiles. The addition of a neck massager in the jacuzzi, to be installed next week, will surely add to its charm/appeal.

Ladies Showers

As you can see this design element is continued throughout the changing rooms in the form of the ladies shower area. The tiled walls seperate each of the showers in both the mens & ladies changing rooms/dressing rooms.

Mens Steam Room

A beautiful italian mosaic tile has been selected as a key feature throughout the new spa & health club and the intricate work of putting those designs into practice has begun as you can see from one of our wonderful new steam rooms.

Gym

Quite a contrast to the last picture you saw!(12th April 2007) The gym 'space' has been prepared for its new look. The cosmetic work will begin this week with the new state of the art gym equipment to be delivered 1st week in May.

Progress

So here we are with another update - progress is being made but we are really taking the opportunity to optimise the infrastructure as much as possible before the beautiful architectural features begin to become apparent. This shows the view from poolside towards what will be the gym - not much to look at right now apart from some very reflective high visibility jackets, but these things take time...

The New Branding

One of the enjoyable parts of devloping a whole new spa, is the promotional aspect - we have decided on our new brand and logo, as shown here - green shades for peace and relaxation with the grassy blades representing the natural and healthy properties of the spa and health club. Next step is the launch of the new website - coming very soon.

Hard day at the office

When you doing site work, the team need somewhere as a base and as you can imagine, in a area surrounded by dust and noise it's not easy to find a spot - our team are basing themsleves in the pool for the time being - with the location of the pool remaining the same it is ideal, as shown here. The outer wall's are created from plastic sheets and if you can ignore the banging and drilling I'm sure it's a very peaceful place...

We're back

Well after a long break (for the blog, not the construction team) we are back - the main reason for the delay is that although the guys have been very busy, visually not much has changed... after the excitement of smashing everything up that was not needed, they are now working on details like re-routing plumbing work, and slowly removing the jacuzzi, which is pretty hard work - and extremely dusty.
